Tecno Spark 9T – An Affordable Smartphone with Strong Battery

Tecno Mobile recently launched the Spark 9T smartphone in key markets. Let’s take a detailed look at the specs and features of this affordable offering.

Design and Display

The Tecno Spark 9T sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. This results in decent 266 PPI pixel density. The display supports a fast 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gameplay.

It has a slim profile of 8.7mm and lightweight design making it comfortable to hold. The phone comes in attractive color options of Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Particle Silver and Vitality Green.

Performance

Under the hood, the Spark 9T is powered by MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, which is a decent performer for basic daily tasks and gameplay. It has 4GB RAM which should handle multitasking smoothly.

Storage options include 64GB and 128GB with microSD card support for expansion up to 256GB. The Helio G37 is paired withPowerVR GE8320 GPU for graphics.

Cameras

For photos and videos, there is a triple rear camera setup including a 13MP main camera with LED flash, 2MP depth sensor and a QVGA resolution camera. It can capture 1080p videos at 30fps.

For selfies, it houses a 32MP front camera placed in the waterdrop notch with dual-LED flash. Skin smoothing and beautify modes are also available.

Battery & Connectivity

The biggest highlight is its massive 5,000mAh battery which should provide multi-day usage on a single charge. It supports 10W fast charging but charger is not included in the box.
