Powering the device is the Snapdragon 695 5G chip paired with up to 8GB RAM. This resulted in flawless performance during my testing. It also supports both Sub-6 and mmWave 5G connectivity.
Cameras
The triple rear camera setup is headlined by a decent 48MP main sensor. Selfies are handled by a 13MP front shooter. Photography was good in favorable lighting.
Battery Life
A 5,000mAh battery easily sails through a full day on a single charge. It also supports 33W fast charging which fills up the cell quickly.
Pricing and Availability
At just around 400,000 Naira depending on storage/RAM variant, the Poco X5 makes flagship-level specifications accessible to many.
Overall, Xiaomi offers one of the best price-to-performance propositions in this segment with the new Poco X5. It’s a terrific all-round package for mobile gamers.
