Huawei MatePad Air Price in Nigeria Today

Huawei has recently announced and released their new MatePad Air tablet. Here are the key specifications and features of this latest entry to their MatePad lineup.

Design and Display

The Huawei MatePad Air sports an 11.5-inch LCD with a 2K resolution of 2800×1840 pixels. This gives it sharp and crisp visuals at a pixel density of around 291ppi. It has slim bezels giving it an excellent screen-to-body ratio of around 84%.

The tablet is quite light-weight at just 508g and is only 6.4mm thin. This makes it comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. It comes in two color options – Graphite Black and White.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood, the MatePad Air is powered by the Snapdragon 888 4G chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. This provides plenty of processing power for both regular and graphics-intensive tasks.

It comes with up to 512GB of internal storage. However, there is no microSD card slot for expanding the storage further. The large 8,300mAh battery is rated to provide decent backup and can be charged quickly via the 40W fast charging support.

Cameras and Connectivity

There is a single 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Video recording maxes out at 4K for the rear camera.

Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS etc. Unfortunately, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack or NFC support. The USB Type-C port supports OTG and display-out functions.

Software

The MatePad Air runs on Huawei’s own HarmonyOS operating system. It is currently running HarmonyOS 3.1 out of the box.

So in summary, the Huawei MatePad Air seems to be a well-rounded mid-range tablet with powerful internals, crisp display and lightweight design targeted at productivity and media consumption. Its competitive pricing starting at around 900,000 Naira further sweetens the deal.
