Huawei Unveils the Luxury Huawei Watch Ultimate Design 

Huawei has just announced a new high-end smartwatch aimed at the luxury market – the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design. With a sapphire crystal display, 18k gold bezel and crown, and ceramic back enclosure, the Watch Ultimate Design clearly emphasizes premium design and materials.

Some key specs and features of this luxury smartwatch include:

– 1.5″ LTPO AMOLED display with a sharp 466×466 resolution and over 311 PPI density. The always-on display is protected by sapphire crystal.

Powered by Huawei’s own HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system, providing a smooth wearable experience.

32GB of built-in storage allowing you to load apps and store media directly on the watch. No microSD card slot is provided however.

A 530mAh battery delivers all-day battery life and charges wirelessly on its included charger.

Full water resistance up to 10ATM along with IP68 certification, allowing swimming and diving with the watch. It also includes ECG and health sensors like heart rate monitoring.

Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.2, NFC for mobile payments, GPS/GLONASS/BDS/GALILEO positioning. Sensors cover all the basics like accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and compass.

No cellular connectivity but it can still receive calls and messages via paired Bluetooth.

The Huawei Watch Ultimate Design is clearly aiming to compete with other luxury smartwatch brands like Apple Watch Hermès. However, the estimated price will be a staggering 7,550,000 Naira putting it well above even an Apple Watch Edition in costing. For that kind of money, buyers will expect exquisite craftsmanship and materials. Only time will tell if Huawei can attract customers to this high-end niche with their brand name. But they are certainly making a bold step upmarket with the Watch Ultimate Design.
