Motorola Introduces New Budget-Friendly Smartphone – Moto G04s
Motorola has recently announced a new addition to their popular Moto G series of affordable Android smartphones – the Moto G04s. As the name implies, the Moto G04s is positioned as a slightly upgraded version of the Moto G04 that was released earlier this year.
In terms of design, the Moto G04s has a plastic body measuring 163.5 x 74.5 x 8 mm and weighing 178.8 grams. It sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (720×1612) resolution. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Powering the device is the Unisoc T606 chipset coupled with 4GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be expanded further via a microSD card.
For optics, the Moto G04s has a dual rear camera setup with a primary 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfie duties are handled by a 5MP front-facing camera. Battery capacity is a sizable 5000mAh which Motorola claims can provide up to 2 days of usage on a single charge. It supports 15W fast charging via the USB Type-C port.
Additional features of the Moto G04s include dual SIM support, 3.5mm headphone jack, rear fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 8.0, and GPS/GLONASS. It runs on Android 14 out of the box.
Pricing for the Motorola Moto G04s starts at 195,000 Naira for the base 4GB/64GB model. Higher variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage are also available. It comes in colors like Concord Black, Sea Green, Satin Blue and Sunrise Orange.
With its HD+ display, large battery, affordable price tag and clean Android software, the Moto G04s seems like a solid budget option for users looking for a daily driver smartphone without spending big. Motorola continues to offer great value with their Moto G series phones.
