Infinix launched a variant of their popular Hot 12 Play smartphone with the addition of NFC connectivity. Called the Hot 12 Play NFC, it maintains the affordable price point while offering slightly enhanced features over the base model.
Design and Display
The design and display on the Hot 12 Play NFC remain identical to the non-NFC model. It has a plastic build and houses a 6.82-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Hardware and Performance
Under the hood is the Unisoc T610 chipset paired with 4/6GB RAM depending on the storage variant. Internal memory includes 64/128GB with microSD card expansion. It runs on XOS 10 based on Android 11.
Cameras and Connectivity
Camera specifications are unchanged – a 13MP main and QVGA depth sensor on the rear. Selfies are handled by an 8MP shooter. The addition is NFC support for contactless payments and data transfers.
