Realme has quietly established itself as a reliable brand in the budget and mid-range segments with feature-packed offerings. Now, the company is targeting the higher mid-range with its newest device – the Realme P1 Pro.

Specifications

The Realme P1 Pro was announced in April 2024 and packs some high-end specs that seem too good to be true at its price point. Let’s take a closer look:

  • Display: It sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a blazing-fast 120Hz refresh rate. The display is bright with 1B colors and HDR support.
  • Processor: Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset which is quite potent for everyday usage and light gaming. It is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
  • Cameras: The dual rear camera setup has a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Selfies are handled by a 16MP shooter. Video recording goes up to 4K at 30fps.
  • Battery: To keep the phone running is a sizeable 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging that should easily last over a day of use.
  • Software: The P1 Pro runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 with customizable features and is promised to get timely updates.

First Impressions

On paper, the P1 Pro seems to beat most budget flagships hands down. The powerful processor, bright AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate, and 50MP camera setup at this price is quite unbelievable.
