I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy M23 as my primary device for over a week now. Here are my impressions of this affordable smartphone:
Design
The M23 has a sleek body weighing 198g with thin bezels around its 6.6-inch LCD screen. The back has a fingerprint-resistant matte finish. Buttons are easy to press.
Display
The FHD+ LCD screen is crisp with accurate colors and good viewing angles. The 120Hz refresh rate provides smooth scrolling. Brightness is decent both indoors and outdoors.
Performance
Powered by the Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset, the device performs well for daily tasks. Gaming and multitasking were smooth in my usage. The side fingerprint sensor unlocks quickly.
Cameras
The triple rear cam setup clicks detailed shots in daylight. The ultrawide camera adds more perspective while the macro allows close-up shots. Selfies from the front cam look good too. 4K30 video recording is a plus.
Software
One UI 5.1 interface is pleasant to use with a host of customization options. 5G worked well for me. Additional features like dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, and OTG support are present.
Battery
The 5,000mAh battery easily lasts over a day of normal usage with light gaming/streaming. 25W fast charging topped it up quickly during breaks.
Pricing and Value
At its starting price of approximately Rs. 15,000, the Samsung Galaxy M23 provides great value for the hardware and capable performance it offers.
Verdict
For its affordable price point, the Samsung M23 makes a reliable all-rounder smartphone choice with decent cameras and long-lasting battery life.
