Xiaomi Poco F4 – A Powerful Mid-Range Smartphone

Xiaomi recently launched the Poco F4, the successor to the popular Poco F3 smartphone. Based on the specifications and features, the Poco F4 seems poised to be another bestselling device from the Poco lineup.

Design and Display
The Poco F4 has a sleek design with a glass front and back housed in an aluminum frame. At 195g, it is lightweight yet durable with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen has FHD+ resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. With up to 1300 nits of peak brightness, the display is vibrant and visible even under direct sunlight.

Processing Power
Powering the Poco F4 is the potent Snapdragon 870 5G chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This combination ensures buttery-smooth performance for gaming, multitasking and heavy usage. The phone also supports various 5G bands for fast internet speeds.

Camera Specifications
On the rear, the Poco F4 has a versatile triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens and 2MP macro sensor. It can capture detailed photos as well as ultrawide landscape shots. For selfies, there is a 20MP front camera. Video recording is supported up to 4K 60fps on both front and back cameras.

Battery Life
Keeping the phone running is a sizable 4500mAh battery which supports 67W fast charging. Xiaomi claims it can charge fully in just 38 minutes. The battery should easily last over a day of normal usage.

Pricing and Availability
The Poco F4 starts at around 300,000 Naira for the base 6GB/128GB model. It offers excellent value considering the flagship-level specs and features. The phone is currently available in select global markets.
