Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Price in Nigeria Today

Xiaomi unveiled the latest device in their popular Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 12 Pro, in October 2022. As with previous models, Xiaomi aims to deliver great specs at an affordable price point with this phone.

Design and Display

The Redmi Note 12 Pro has a plastic frame sandwiched between two glass panels on the front and back. It feels solid in the hand despite weighing only 187g. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display produces vibrant colors and reaches up to 900 nits of brightness, making it ideal for outdoor usage. With FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the screen provides a smooth viewing experience.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood is the Mediatek Dimensity 1080 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. I found the device to handle daily tasks like messaging, social media and content consumption without any issue. It also managed gaming and multitasking smoothly. The phone scored around 500,000 on AnTuTu which is respectable for this price point.

Cameras

The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. Photos taken in good lighting showed plenty of detail while the ultrawide adds more context. Selfies are handled by a 16MP front camera. Video recording tops out at 4K30 which is decent.

Battery Life and Charging

Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery which provided around a day’s worth of use on a single charge during my testing. While battery life is average, the 67W fast charging means refills happen quickly, with a 0-50% charge taking just 15 minutes.

Priced starting from 291,000 Naira, the Redmi Note 12 Pro offers great bang for the buck. It provides capable everyday performance in a stylish package. If you’re looking for an affordable Android option, this is worth considering.
