Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Note 13 (China) with 108MP Camera and 33W Fast Charging
Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Redmi Note 13 smartphone exclusively for the Chinese market. The new Redmi Note 13 succeeds last year’s Redmi Note 12 and comes with some impressive specifications and features for the price.
Display and Design
The Redmi Note 13 sports a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This should provide a smooth scrolling and gaming experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone has a plastic body measuring 161.1 x 75 x 7.6mm and weighing 173.5 grams. It is available in Black, White and Blue color options.
Camera Setup
One of the highlights of the Redmi Note 13 is its triple rear camera setup that is headed by a massive 108MP main sensor. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies are handled by a 16MP front camera. Both the main and selfie cameras can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There is no microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Redmi Note 13 draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It runs Android 13 out of the box with MIUI 14 on top.
Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Note 13 has been launched exclusively in China and is priced starting at around 500,000 Naira for for the base 6GB/128GB model. It will be going on sale in the country from September 21, 2022. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on its international availability.
